Lisa Wolf: The Breath of the Asana

Friday and Saturday, April 11th & 12th

with Lisa Wolf

Living Yoga welcomes Lisa Wolf back to Denver!

About the Workshop: The Breath of the Asana

Every asana has its own breath. We bring prana into our being through the breath. From Light on Yoga, “Prana means breath, respiration, life, vitality, wind, energy or strength.” In this workshop, we will explore the extension and expansion of the breath in asana to prepare the body and mind for a deeper exploration of pranayama.

About Lisa:

Lisa was co-owner of the Iyengar Yoga Center of Denver/Yoga Center of Denver for 10+ years before moving to Northern Italy in 2021 with her husband, daughter and dog.

Lisa started practicing Iyengar yoga in 1997 to heal runner’s knee. Extensive yoga studies include learning from the Iyengars over many trips to India, and ongoing classes with senior teachers including Gabriella Giubilaro, Stephanie Quirk, and Faeq and Corine Biria. Lisa spent several years in Blacons, France studying at the Centre de Iyengar de Paris—including summer intensives, teaching a level I class, and assisting in the medical classes (including prenatal and fertility).

Lisa is a dedicated teacher with a commitment to further her own knowledge and share the physical, mental, and emotional benefits of Iyengar Yoga.
